Vacation!

Well, I had my time!

From the 9^th until the 18^th of July I had the chance to see (more of) Fagaras, Sibiu, Brasov, Slanic Moldova and a bit more, on the way. To be honest, this was my first time in Brasov, but the city is great!

Some time ago I had a dream: to travel a lot! Even if I didn't get the chance to do it too often, I can still find many places in Romania to amaze me! ...and I bet there are even more!

Among the beautiful souvenirs I brought home, there are also a bit more than 1.000 photos. From them, I've chosen some to share. You can find them in a separate set on flickr.

Music and Lyrics

Alex Fletcher: It doesn't have to be perfect. Just spit it out. They're just lyrics.
Sophie Fisher: "Just lyrics"?
Alex Fletcher: Lyrics are important. They're just not as important as melody.
Sophie Fisher: I really don't think you get it.
Alex Fletcher: Oh. You look angry. Click your pen.
Sophie Fisher: A melody is like seeing someone for the first time. The physical attraction. Sex.
Alex Fletcher: I so get that.
Sophie Fisher: But then, as you get to know the person, that's the lyrics. Their story. Who they are underneath. It's the combination of the 2 that makes it magical.

A nice comedy/romance movie! But I really started liking it only from this part:

And though I know, I’ve already blown more chances
Than anyone should ever get
All I’m asking you, is don’t write me off, just yet
Don’t write me off just yet

Personal Branding Seminar

I just found out today that on the 8th of November 2007 you can (re)discover your own personal brand. And coming to your help is William Arruda - personal branding guru.

The site for the Personal Branding Seminar looks pretty good in it's simplicity, and it is quite full of interesting information.

When I first got to that site, I was only interested in the subject, without knowing much about William Arruda. Even the personal branding quick tips seemed OK, but not extraordinary. They only made me curious, so I took a sneak peek at the fragment from William Arruda′s presentation.

Just after that teaser and after browsing a bit his blog, I figured out that if I had €175 extra right now, I would have enrolled in his seminar. If you have the chance to be there, drop me a line with the impressions! :o)

Rating my Blog

Today I've discovered Claudiu Florea's blog, and from all his posts, one grabbed me directly by my eyeballs: the one about how can you rate your site with a little script!

Well, according to them, my blog is suitable even for children, not like Claudiu's :P

Fredo and Pid’Jin

Well, if you've seen the this odd-looking character:as my YM avatar, that's Fredo! Why haven't I chose the "slim" pigeon? That's for you to find out! :P
It's all about the Fredo & Pidjin Comics; two evil pigeons that have one world to destroy!
After reading the first 3 seasons and after missing their 2 Years & 100 Episodes contest I'm happy to see that they already started the 4th season!
Let's what will they think of next! ;))
